      • Day 1 Arrival in Bogota

        Upon arrival in Bogota, your tour guide will take you from the airport to your hotel; depending on the traffic, the drive takes 30–45 minutes. At the hotel, we will check your itinerary again to make sure everything is clear, help you with anything you may need, and give you some practical information about Bogota and Colombia. Depending on your arrival time, you may have some time to explore the city on your own or relax.

        Bogota is located at an altitude of 2,600 metres, so we recommend taking it easy during the first few days

      • Day 2 Monserrate & Hummingbirds: Bogotá City Tour

        Today we will begin the day with a visit to one of Bogota’s most iconic landmarks: Monserrate Hill. This legendary site offers a meaningful and unforgettable experience, not only for its cultural and spiritual significance but also for the stunning panoramic views of Bogotá that we will enjoy from the top of the hill.
        We will spend about 3 hours birding along the short Paramuno Trail. This path features a series of feeders and native flowers that attract various bird species, including the Sword-billed Hummingbird, Glowing and Coppery-bellied Pufflegs, Mountain Velvetbreast, Blue-throated Starfrontlet, Great Sapphirewing, and Green- and Black-tailed Trainbearers.

        After the visit Monserrate , we will visit some of the most iconic places in Bogota's historic centre. 

        Your adventure begins at the Gold Museum, which houses the world's largest collection of pre-Hispanic gold artefacts. Here, you will uncover the intricate artistry and historical significance of Colombia’s ancient goldwork.

        Next, visit the Botero Museum to experience the unique charm of Fernando Botero’s art. His distinctively plump figures and playful, provocative approach to painting and sculpture are sure to captivate and entertain, even if you are not a traditional art enthusiast. As you stroll through the historic neighbourhood of La Candelaria, you will discover hidden architectural gems in the heart of the city. Conclude your day with an exciting game of tejo, Colombia’s national sport, that perfectly wraps up your immersion in local culture. Invented by the Muisca people, tejo has been passed down through generations and was originally played as a ritual offering to the gods. Today, it remains a lively tradition that blends ancestral roots with modern-day fun.

      • Day 3 Leticia Unveiled: Exploring the Heart of the Amazon

        Get ready for an early morning adventure! We’ll pick you up from your hotel and transfer to Bogotá’s airport for a short flight to Leticia, the gateway to the Amazon. Upon arrival, your tour guide will meet you at the airport and assist with your transfer. From Leticia, we’ll board a canoe for a scenic journey along the Amazon River, traveling about 1.5 hours by boat until we reach Calanoa Lodge, your hotel nestled in the heart of the rainforest.


        In the afternoon, after lunch, a hike crosses the Calanoa Reserve to the Matamata creek, on the limit of the Amacayacu National Park. There, a canoe is waiting for you to descend paddling to the Amazon and return to the lodge (if the water level allows it). Navigating the canopy of the forest, during high-water season is an incredible experience.


        In the evening, we’ll set out on a night exploration within the reserve. Guided by local experts, you’ll embark on an unforgettable journey deep into the heart of the Amazon. As the forest awakens under the cloak of darkness, every sound, shadow, and shimmer reveals a hidden world  from the calls of nocturnal birds to the quiet movements of insects, reptiles, and mammals. This unique adventure will connect you with the mysteries and magic of the jungle at night.

      • Day 4 From Tikuna Traditions to Island Wonders: Amazon Exploration with Sunset Dolphins

        After breakfast, we will travel along the Amazon river; we will have a few stops before arriving at Puerto Nariño.
        Our first stop will be Mocagua, a local village in the buffer zone of Amacayacu National Park, mainly inhabited by the Ticuna indigenous community. The Ticuna constitute one of the most numerous peoples of the Amazon Basin, where approximately 7,879 people live there. During this visit, we will learn about their way of life and traditions and how they use wood and other natural materials from the jungle to create crafts.

        We will then visit the Maikuchiga Foundation, a conservation project focused on protecting species like the Churuco monkey and rehabilitating rescued wildlife. After a traditional lunch, we will cross into Peru to explore Cacao Island, known for sloths and the Victoria Regia flower. Finally, we will arrive in Puerto Nariño, a sustainable town without motorized vehicles, surrounded by natural areas where, depending on the season, we can visit Lake Tarapoto or the Chineria River to see pink dolphins, manatees, sloths, and the Victoria Regia.

      • Day 5 Amazon Exploration: Rainforest Canopy & Leticia City Tour

        Start your day with a morning excursion to adventure. We'll hike through the Calanoa Reserve, reaching the Matamata creek on the fringes of the Amacayacu National Park. At the creek's edge, a canoe eagerly awaits you. Embark on a serene paddle downstream towards the Amazon, a journey that, depending on water levels, may allow you to experience the rainforest canopy from a unique vantage point during the high-water season. It's an experience that promises to be nothing short of incredible.


        At the Afternoon  we will transfer back to Leticia by boat to finish this unique exploration. Upon arrival in leticia we go to the hotel and them we star our city tour The adventure begins with Tabatinga, its Brazilian counterpart, linked by road and footpath. Dive into its history, visiting spots like the triple border and a viewpoint offering breathtaking Amazon River vistas. Don't miss a chance to savour Cachaza, the renowned Brazilian sugarcane-distilled cocktail.

      • Day 6 Journey to Yopal: Safari Escapade in Los Llanos

        After breakfast  We’ll pick you up from your hotel and transfer to Leticia Airport for your flight to Yopal. Since there are no direct routes, you’ll connect in Bogotá before continuing on to the capital of Casanare, the gateway to Los Llanos in Eastern Colombia. Upon arrival in Yopal, your tour guide will meet you at the airport. From there, we’ll enjoy a 2-hour drive on well-paved roads to San Luis de Palenque, where we’ll spend the next two days immersed in nature at the El Encanto de Guanapalo Nature Reserve.


        At this natural reserve, you will have the chance to see hundreds of capybaras, white-tailed deer, spectacled caimans, tortoises and a wide variety of birdlife, including Orinoco geese and the great horned owl – Colombia's largest owl.
        Upon arrival, we will have lunch and relax for a while. Then, we will go on a safari in a 4x4 vehicle to get close to an astonishing amount of wildlife; with some luck, we may spot an anteater, a puma, an anaconda (especially during the dry season in February and March), armadillos and many other fascinating species. We will also be able to witness the spectacular sunset before continuing our expedition to see nocturnal wildlife.

      • Day 7 Explore Los Llanos Canoeing and Hiking in the Heart of Los Llano

Setting off in canoes, you'll navigate the winding waterways that crisscross this remarkable landscape, surrounded by the beauty of lush wetlands and captivating flora and fauna.         Afterward, embark on a hiking journey that takes you deeper into the heart of Los Llanos.       • Day 8 Horseback Expedition through Los Llanos

        Begin your journey with an introduction to the farm, followed by a lasso practice that sets the stage for the adventures to come. Saddle up as we prepare our horses for an exploration into the sweeping savannah. Our equine companions will lead us through small rivers, waterholes, verdant savannas, and pockets of palm and gallery forests. Along the way, keep a watchful eye out for a fascinating array of birdlife and wildlife, from various anteater species and monkeys to tortoises, caimans, and exotic avian wonders.


        Upon reaching the nature reserve, a captivating spectacle awaits.       • Day 9 Transitioning Realms: Departing Llanos , Welcoming Quito

        After breakfast, we’ll return to Yopal for our flight to Quito. Since there are no direct flights, we’ll connect in Bogotá before continuing on to Ecuador. After soaking in the wonders of Los Llanos, it’s time for a new chapter of our journey. 
        Upon arrival in Quito, a city nestled in the breathtaking Andean highlands, your tour guide will be waiting to welcome you at the airport and escort you to your hotel. There, you’ll be greeted with a thoughtful courtesy kit featuring locally sourced products a first taste of Ecuadorian hospitality. As you transfer to your hotel, take in the spectacular scenery that surrounds the capital: towering mountains, lush valleys, and skies that seem to brush the peaks.         Runa Tulpa Andina: Located in the heart of the Historic Center, this cozy restaurant is a living tribute to Ecuadorian community cuisine. Founded by three women dedicated to solidarity economy, Runa Tulpa revives ancestral aromas, flavors, and techniques prepared over the “sacred fire” of the tulpa. Here you will enjoy a delicious lunch in an atmosphere celebrating history, community, and authentic Andean flavors.

        Casa Agave: Just outside Quito, Casa Agave is a museum and cultural center dedicated to the ancient andean agave plant.       • Day 11 Cotopaxi Unveiled: A Journey to the Volcanic Heights

Your guide will pick you up from your hotel eraly in the morning, and together you’ll embark on a fascinating journey south along the legendary Avenue of the Volcanoes. Along the way, you’ll marvel at the majestic peaks of 7 volcanoes: Sincholagua, Pasochoa, Corazón, the twin Illinizas, Rumiñahui and many other towering mountains that grace the Andean skyline.

        After a scenic two-hour drive, you’ll arrive at the base of one of the world’s highest active volcanoes — the iconic Cotopaxi (5,897 m). From the park entrance, you’ll follow a 45-minute route to the stunning Limpiopungo Lagoon. Surrounded by raw Andean beauty, you’ll take a one-hour walk around the lagoon, where native flora and wildlife thrive, and where the majestic reflection of Cotopaxi and the Rumiñahui volcano mirror themselves in the still waters. For those seeking more adventure, there's the option to hike to the José Rivas Refuge, located at 4,800 meters. The trail begins at 4,300 m and ascends through a stark and dramatic landscape — a challenge that rewards you with spectacular views from high above the clouds.

        Upon arrival at San Cristóbal Airport, your local guide will be waiting to warmly welcome you. You’ll then take a short 5-minute transfer to your accommodation in Puerto Baquerizo Moreno, where you’ll have time to unwind, settle in, and get ready for the exciting adventures that await you in this extraordinary natural paradise. We’ll begin with a scenic hike to the captivating Cerro Tijeretas, located on the island’s northern coast. On the way, we’ll visit the Interpretation Center, a must-see that reveals the fascinating natural and human history of the archipelago, as well as its extraordinary flora and fauna.
        At the top of Cerro Tijeretas, you’ll be rewarded with breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean and the volcanic landscape of Galápagos.       • Day 13 Galapagos Marine Safari: Encounter the Enchanting Kicker Rock

        Today, get ready for one of the most unforgettable experiences in Galápagos: the excursion to Kicker Rock (León Dormido), a breathtaking 140-meter-high rock formation rising from the ocean just off the coast of San Cristóbal. From the south, it resembles a sleeping lion; from other angles, it looks like a giant boot.

        We depart early in the morning by boat from San Cristóbal towards Kicker Rock. The ride takes about 40–60 minutes, giving us time to enjoy the ocean breeze and watch for seabirds along the way.

        These dramatic cliffs are home to extraordinary marine life. The narrow channel between the rocks serves as a natural haven for hammerhead sharks, manta rays, sea turtles, sea lions, and a rich variety of tropical fish. You'll have the chance to snorkel in these crystal-clear waters, immersed in the stunning biodiversity that makes the Galápagos Islands so unique.

        After snorkeling, we continue to a nearby beach, where lunch will be served and you’ll have time to relax, swim, or simply enjoy the scenery before returning to San Cristóbal in the early afternoon.

      • Day 14 Conservation Expedition: Tortoises and the Charles Darwin Research Center

        Early in the morning, your guide will accompany you to the pier to board the speedboat heading toward Santa Cruz Island. After approximately two hours of scenic navigation, you will arrive at the charming port town of Puerto Ayora. We’ll begin by exploring the highlands of the island, where you’ll visit a local ranch to observe giant tortoises in their natural habitat. In this lush setting, you may also spot Darwin’s finches, other endemic birds, and unique species found only in this ecosystem. You’ll enjoy a delicious lunch made with fresh, local ingredients, surrounded by serene, green landscapes. Afterwards, you’ll dive into the science and conservation of the archipelago with a visit to the Charles Darwin Research Station. Since 1959, this institution has played a key role in protecting the biodiversity of the Galápagos Islands. You'll gain insight into the giant tortoise breeding programs, visit the juvenile corrals, and learn about the ecological challenges facing the archipelago.

Here you can see two zones: Playa Brava, where you can practice surf and Playa Mansa, where you can enjoy the clear waters and observe coastal migratory birds.         Santa Fe
        A small island with immense ecological value, considered one of the oldest in the archipelago. It is home to the Santa Fe land iguana, found only here, and features a forest of giant Opuntia cacti that create a unique and arid landscape. Its crystal-clear waters are perfect for snorkeling with sea turtles, eagle rays, and a wide variety of tropical fish. On land, it is common to find colonies of sea lions resting and various seabird species, such as blue-footed boobies. The island also boasts white sandy beaches ideal for relaxing.

        Plaza Sur
        Known for its striking natural contrasts and rich biodiversity. It is famous for its large colonies of land iguanas freely roaming among the Opuntia cacti and volcanic rock formations. On this island, you can observe blue-footed boobies, frigatebirds, and the iconic swallow-tailed gull, a Galápagos emblem. The cliffs covered with red vegetation provide spectacular color, especially during the dry season. In the water, snorkeling offers encounters with sea turtles and tropical fish.

        Bartolomé
        Undoubtedly one of the most iconic images of the Galápagos, worldwide famous for its Pinnacle Rock, a striking volcanic formation. From the top of its trail, you’ll enjoy panoramic views of volcanic landscapes, white sandy beaches, and the Pacific Ocean. The island is home to a small population of Galápagos penguins, the only penguin species found north of the equator. Its waters are ideal for swimming and snorkeling with reef sharks, rays, and colorful fish. The island’s geology reflects the archipelago’s active volcanic history, with lava formations, craters, and basalt columns.

        North Seymour
        This island offers one of the best spots to witness the spectacular display of male frigatebirds inflating their red throat pouches during mating season, along with large colonies of blue-footed boobies performing their characteristic courtship dance. Also inhabiting the island are swallow-tailed gulls, brown pelicans, and other seabirds. On land, you may see land iguanas, sea lions, and drought-adapted flora, including hardy shrubs and cacti. Snorkeling near Seymour provides encounters with white-tip reef sharks, rays, sea turtles, and schools of tropical fish. It’s a perfect island for wildlife enthusiasts and photographers.
