      • Day 1 Arrive in La Paz

        Arrive at any time. We’ll meet you at the airport and transfer you to your accommodation. The rest of the day is free for you to relax or begin exploring the city at your own pace.
        La Paz, the highest administrative capital in the world, sits at 3,600 metres above sea level. Take it easy today and give your body time to get used to the altitude..

      • Day 2 Tiwanaku Day Trip from La Paz

        After breakfast, we will drive for one and a half hours along a fully paved road to visit Tiwanaku, the "Cradle of American Civilization." This archaeological site is among the oldest of the Andean cultures, and its remains are striking for their monumentality and the perfection of its construction and decorative techniques. You will visit the following attractions: the Tiwanaku Museums and several ruins, such as the Akapana Pyramid, the Kalasasaya Temple, the Sun Gate, the Fraile and Ponce monoliths, and the semi-subterranean temple. You will also have the opportunity to observe local craftsmanship: small stones carefully carved, modelled after monoliths, Tiwanaku and Aymara amulets, and masterfully crafted pottery, such as ceremonial vessels, incense burners, the Sun Gate, and others. Return to downtown La Paz.

      • Day 3 Isla del Sol Day Trip Explore Inca Ruins and Copacabana

        The excursion begins with a three-and-a-half-hour trip. The first stop is the Strait of Tiquina, where everyone disembarks from the vehicle to cross Lake Titicaca by motorboat. Once we reach the other side of the lake, we return to the vehicle to continue the journey along the lake and enjoy panoramic views. Once we arrive in Copacabana, we take a short city tour, visiting the church and the town of Copacabana.

        Afterwards, we depart by private motorboat to the southern part of Isla del Sol, the birthplace of the Inca Empire. Here we will visit pre-Columbian ruins such as the Yumani Staircase, the Inca Fountain, and the Pillkocaina Palace, offering panoramic views of the Royal Andes Mountains. Lunch will be served on the island.

        After the visits, we return to Copacabana and depart for La Paz.

      • Day 4 Explore Rural Bolivia and Lake Titicaca from Copacabana to Sun Island

        From the hotel, we begin the walking tour where you will get to know this wonderful city and appreciate the cultural, historical, architectural and natural wealth. We visit the main square “Pedro Domingo Murillo”, the Metropolitan Cathedral, the National Congress and the Government Palace (exterior view), Museum of Precious Metals (closed Sunday), Killi Killi viewpoint from where you have a panoramic view of the city of La Paz and the snow-capped mountain of Illimani, a replica of the semi-subterranean temple of Tiwanaku.

        Then we move to the South area and observe the change in climate and construction style of the houses, and then move to the Valley of the Moon, a place that will challenge your imagination, generating the sensation of being in a small wasteland of the moon, its Shapes are the product of erosion and resemble volcanic craters.

        You'll also have the opportunity to ride one of our city's cable cars.

        We'll pass by the 16 de Julio Fair and observe the multitude of people selling their handicrafts, clothing, and much more. Afterwards, we'll board the cable car again and head to Jaén Street to enjoy the cholita wrestling match (Mexican style), a unique new wave of Indigenous pride and feminism. Cholitas are the beautiful women of La Paz who wear round hats and full skirts. We often see them selling goods at the local market, but we can discover a whole new side of them during a cholita wrestling match. At the end of the tour, we'll transfer to the hotel.

        At El Alto, you will have the opportunity to observe the Andean architecture best known as "Cholets," which have become one of the most important examples of the city of El Alto. Their colourful buildings reflect the social transformation in Bolivia. Their intense colours and geometry, inspired by the Andean worldview, and the way they are built are of striking interest, as these buildings belong to families. The ground floor serves as a party room or business space, the other floors are apartments for the children, and the top floor is the "Cholet," where the parents live.

      • Day 5 Flight to Uyuni and Salt Flats Tour: Visit Train Cemetery, Colchani, and Incahuasi Island

        Your driver will pick you up from the hotel and take you to the airport for your flight to Uyuni. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the offices, where you can enjoy some free time for breakfast (approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour), to be arranged on your own.

        NOTE: If you request BREAKFAST at the Hotel Cielo & Sal/Casa de Sal/Kachi (and do not have breakfast in a cafeteria in the city), it must be requested 24 hours in advance; the additional cost of BREAKFAST is 10 USD per Person. If you would like dinner at the same hotel, please add $ 15 per person, 24 hours in advance.

        At an agreed time, visit the Train Cemetery in Uyuni, then, we visit the town of Colchani to see the manual salt process, the artisanal salt market, shops with llama and alpaca wool fabrics, hats and ponchos.

        You can also see the piles of salt, the saltwater eyes, the monument to the Dakar rally, the plaza of world flags, the first salt hotel (now a restaurant museum), where lunch will be held, especially when it is cold and windy with dust.

        Visit the giant salt structures: salt ladder, also called stairway to heaven, salt pyramid, salt clock, giant salt hand and the salt condor.

        Picnic lunch on salt flats, tablecloths and colorful pillows (if the weather permits).
        After lunch, visit to Incahuasi Island which is characterized by its giant cacti, where we will take a walk to the top of the island, where you can see the salt flat in its entirety. 

        On the way back, we will make stops to take photos and videos in perspective, sunset with red wine and snacks. Overnight in Uyuni.

      • Day 6 San Cristóbal Day Tour Visit Flamingo Lagoons, Ollague Volcano and Scenic Valle de Rocas

        After breakfast, we will pass through San Cristóbal, we will visit the Valley of Rocks, the viewpoint of the Ollague Volcano (5,865 meters above sea level), from where you can observe the fumarolic activity emanating from the active Volcano.

        Altiplanic lagoons such as: Laguna Cañapa, Laguna Hedionda, Laguna Honda, Chiarcota and Laguna Ramaditas, which are used by flamingos as feeding and resting points during their migratory movements. Then we will go to the hotel. 

        We will arrive in Villamar by late afternoon, where the evening unfolds in the serene landscape of the Lipez Region

      • Day 7 Uyuni Day Tour Visit Siloli Desert, Laguna Colorada, and Licancabur Volcano

        After breakfast, departure to visit the Siloli Desert where the Stone Tree is located, which is a geomorphic formation due to wind erosion, Laguna Colorada which is the gateway to the Eduardo Abaroa reserve, Geysers, Hot Springs in Polques, rocks of Salvador Dalí, we will continue towards the viewpoint of the Licancabur Volcano, to be able to observe the Laguna Verde, as the last attraction we will visit Laguna Blanca, Then we'll return to Uyuni. En route, we'll be able to see the Valley of Rocks and the colonial church of San Cristóbal. Return to Uyuni. Transfer to the hotel.

      • Day 8 Flight to La Paz and Sajama Tour Visit Curahuara Church and Huayña Kota Lagoon

        Your driver will pick you up from the hotel and take you to the airport for your flight to La Paz.

        Upon  arrive at the airport in the city of La Paz and begin the tour and head to Sajama.

        During the trip, you will visit the pre-Columbian Chullpas of Callapa, and the Curahuara de Carangas Church, known as the Sistine Chapel of the Altiplano, due to its mural of the Last Judgment, which is very similar to the one in the Sistine Chapel in Rome. Furthermore, all the walls of the Curahuara church feature all kinds of religious paintings. Arrival at Sajama National Park, check-in at the park ranger station, and lunch. In the afternoon, visit the Huayña Kota lagoon, hike through the Keñuas forest, and return to the village of Sajama. Overnight stay in the village at an Ecolodge in Sajama.

      • Day 9 Visit Sajama and Kasilla Hot Springs with Return to La Paz

        Visit the geysers in the Junthuta area, at the foot of Pomarape Mountain, walk around the Kasilla Hot Springs, where you can take a relaxing bath, and have lunch in the town of Sajama.

        In the afternoon, return trip to La Paz, visiting the town of Lagunas along the way.
